Google Reader?

Have you used Google Reader yet? It's a great online RSS reader tool. And, it's free! My favorite reader is still FeedDemon, now owned by NewsGator, which also has an online OPML component. I like them both very much, but Google allows you to tag and share items in your feed with others. Just like a link blog. Check out my shared items on the right hand side of this blog, or subscribe to the feed (also on the right hand side). If you've got a shared feed/page let me know, I'd love to check it out.

Google Reader

What RSS reader are you using? I used to use Feed Demon and News Gator. I've tried a few Outlook based softwares and mac based as well. I've started using Google Reader lately. It works great. Let us know what you're using.

Zoomr Giving Away Pro Accounts

should I switch? I like Flickr, I've pretty much been above the petty arguments going on but this is tempting.

One of things that we hope Zooomr will become in the months ahead is the photo sharing site of choice for bloggers to host their images on. Since we’re new though and need to get the word out we thought the best way to get bloggers to use our site, in addition to building killer blogger friendly features, was to invite all bloggers to join Zooomr and give them a free Zooomr Pro account.

Setting Up a Typepad Side Blog

Daveextreme had a great idea on how to create a side blog on a typepad site and then worked out the how-to to make it happen. Very cool. The only problem I can see is that you then have two separate RSS feeds and the text is on a different site. Since I often search my own blog to remember something (It is my electronic brain) that would cause issues. Still very cool and I might have to try it out.

Bloggercon Notes

Doc Searls is the offical note taker for Bloggercon. Looks pretty cool, it would have been awesome to attend.

New Blog Location and Direction

I've moved my private blog out to the world. At the moment it's a bunch of links, thoughts, and useful items that were previously for my colleagues only. I've purged all of my work related items and left them back in their old location. I'm planning on being more verbose now that I have it here.
So, welcome public!!

del.icio.us Tool List

http://pchere.blogspot.com/2005/02/absolutely-delicious-complete-tool.html

is a social bookmarks manager. It allows you to easily post sites you like to your personal collection of links, to categorize those sites with keywords, and to share your collection not only between your own browsers and machines, but also with others. RSS feeds, tags and bookmarklets make bookmarking your links a treat !! You can also view the currently most popular bookmarks. A Beginner's Guide to Delicious can get you started quickly.

There are several quick alternative ways of posting at post.icio.us. Decoding del.icio.us makes interesting reading incase you are curious about this peculiar domain name del.icio.us. You can fix up your own tools with the del.icio.us API. A post at The Farm does a good detailing of the del.icio.us API. BTW the owner Joshua Schachter has left his job and is now working full time on del.icio.us and has now launched the Del.icio.us Blog

Windows IT Pro RSS Feeds

What a great idea! Just list all if your feeds on your site using a /rss page.
Everyone should do that.
