So exchange somehow got the circular logging switch flipped to off which doesn't do us any good since DPM doesn't truncate it. So we ended up with a giant crap being taken upon us. I was able to clear out the old logs to another folder and fix it up after a few hours and a lot of pain. But it also threw a bunch of other stuff out of whack. Including all of the OWA and supported IIS sites. Short of finally blowing it away I finally got it all in order. Below are some sites that greatly helped...
How to configure RPC over
HTTP in Exchange Server 2003
How can I configure RPC
over HTTP/S on Exchange 2003 (single server scenario)?
Many driver problems in the Terminal Services environment revolve around poor multi-threaded performance, which in turn can cause Print Spooler instability. Problematic multi-threaded performance is usually exposed when multiple users connect to a Terminal Server simultaneously using the same print driver. Symptoms include the failure to autocreate client printers, increased thread count of the Printer Spooler and/or Citrix Print Manager services, and possibly the unresponsiveness and/or unexpected termination of these services (crashes).
This tool can be used to simulate multiple sessions autocreating printers using the same print driver.

Whenever Windows XP or Vista run across a file type the system doesn't
recognize (regardless of whether you do or not), the user is prompted
with either selecting a program to open it or to "Use the Web service
to find the correct program"—which has yet to work even once, at least
for me. The How-To Geek shows how to disable this prompt and head
straight to the program selector, using a quick registry hack.
Thanks Lifehacker!
How To: Disable Windows' "Use the Web Service" Prompt on Unknown Files.
The good news, a great new MOSS end user training tool is on the horizon. The bad news, it's on the horizon. The MOSS team should have certainly learned from the core Office team that these types of tools should be out before the product.
Having these types of training tools certainly makes the decision to buy an expensive product that much easier. It's hard to roll out an entire new architecture and have the manpower to train the troops. Having self training tools is crucial. So far it's just a help tab with camtasia videos, links to the MS site, and our own FAQ's. MS MOSS TEAM, HEEEEELPPP!
The more you learn about Sharepoint the more you understand you don't know. Want your users to be able to nav back to your portal more easily? Thanks to Marc for pointing out the breadcrumb option for Mysite Portal connections. Much easier than editing the master template.
By default, a SharePoint 2007 (MOSS) My Site page does not contain a link back to the portal it serves. This leaves users confused about how to get back to the main portal other than using the Back button in their browsers.
There is a simple fix for this. From the My Site page, choose Site Actions/Site Settings. Under Site Collection Administration click on Portal Site Connection. Click on the radio button next to Connect to portal site and enter the URL and name for the portal site. (Example: http://server/portal/ and Portal Name). Click OK to save. (See this link at Microsoft Support for how to accomplish this programmatically.)
Now, every user will see the portal name (in the example above, Portal Name) in the breadcrumbs on the top left of the My Site page. Problem solved.
I
keep getting a crypto error on the Shared Server Search, every 1
minute. I've stopped and recreated these to no help. In my mind it
seems to be failing because it can't encrypt with a self signed cert?
Any thoughts? Anyone seen this?

Popfly, in my opinion, is Microsoft's first real offering that is actually innovative and not following the crowd. The ideas are much more Web2.0 (I hate that term), rather than following what others are doing. It seems actually genuine and not an afterthought that they've squeezed into a product. Based on their new Silverlight technology it allows power users to mashup different technology in a very cool and new way. I still think that one of the things holding MS back from being more accepted is their annoying insistence of requiring a passport account for EVERYTHING! They have a ton of great content and products but it's all gated behind passport. Very annoying, even when I already have a passport account. Check it out, it's very very cool.

Adobe PDF iFilter 9 for instructions x32 or 64-bit platforms
Download x64 http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4025
1. Install Adobe PDF iFilter 9 for 64-bit platforms.
2. Verify that PDF has been added to the registry.
a. Run Regedit by browsing to c:\Windows\system32\regedt32.exe and double-clicking it.
b. Within left-side tree, browse to: \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\12.0\Search\Applications\{site GUID}\Gather\Portal_Content\Extensions\ExtensionList
c. If PDF extension is present, skip to Step 3 . If PDF extension is not present, continue with Step d.
d. Right click on right-side Extension List pane and choose New > String Value
e. Add a name to the new Registry Key (e.g. “38”)
f. Double click the new Registry Key. For “Value data”, enter “pdf”
Note: This can also be achieved via SharePoint Server Search Administration page by adding ‘pdf’ to list of File Types in Search Administration->File Types. This would automatically add an entry for ‘pdf’ filetype as mentioned above in step 1
3. Verify that PDF has the correct settings in a second registry location.
a. While still in Regedit, within the left-side tree, browse to: \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\12.0\Search\Setup\Filters\.pdf
b. Verify the following values. If values are not as shown, edit them.
i. <REG_SZ> Default = <value not set>
ii. <REG_SZ> Extension = pdf
iii. <REG_DWORD> FileTypeBucket = 1
iv. <REG_SZ> MimeTypes = application/pdf
4. Verify that PDF has the correct settings in a third registry location.
a. While still in RegEdit, within the left-side tree, browse to: \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\12.0\Search\Setup\ContentIndexCommon\Filters\Extension\.pdf
b. Verify the following values. If values are not as shown, edit them.
i. <REG_MULTI_SZ> Default = {E8978DA6-047F-4E3D-9C78-CDBE46041603}
Adobe forgot this too:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Web Server
Extensions\12.0\Search\Setup\ContentIndexCommon\Filters\Extension\.pdf
Default --> {E8978DA6-047F-4E3D-9C78-CDBE46041603} only have to change the sid
5. Verify that pdf.gif is present at the following location:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\IMAGES
**my installation never installed the pdf.gif icon, I used mine from ifilter 6 installation
6. Add an entry in docicon.xml for the pdf icon:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\TEMPLATE\XML
<Mapping Key="pdf" Value=".gif"/> -adobe forgot to add the “/” took me two days to figure it out!!
Note: Step 4 & 5 are done in order to have the pdf icon in SharePoint while it displays the search results.
7. Restart all SharePoint services as well as IIS.
a. Launch the DOS Shell (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt).
b. Type the following at the prompt: “net stop osearch”. Wait for success message.
c. Type the following at the prompt: “net start osearch”. Wait for success message.
d. Type the following at the prompt: “iisreset”. Wait for success message.
