SXSW Interactive Rawked

SXSW Iteractive was awesome this year. Maybe the best ever. The SX staff kicked another one out of the park this year, way to go folks! The podcasts are up and in full swing, subscribe to the feed. We'll be getting them out in the coming months. If you have one that you really liked please let me know and I'll prioritize.

SXSW held their annual volunteer call today at the Hyatt. It was quite busy with young folks looking to get into the action. It's definitely something that is fun to do if you have the time. Stopped by and grabbed a few shots.

SXSW Flickr Photo Analysis

I would like to take this time to analyze the following photos of Hugh Forrest using the Marc Canter photo analysis method.

Hugh either has a sexual nun fetish or used his super hateful ray gun powers to shrink this nun. I can only assume both are true. Fact. It's in the picture.

Here stands Hugh, in that evil way he stands, laying out his plans to take over the world by stealing all of the world's air supply. Starting with Austin, as you can tell from the poster. Probably by reforming the band Air Supply to help steal all of it. Once again, the only reasonable assumption.

Here's Hugh standing at what I can only assume is some sort of blogger sex party. You can tell he was just with some sort of prostitute because of the lipstick. Again, no argument, it's just a fact based on the picture. The crazy thing is that Hugh only likes mini-nun hookers so I am not sure where this picture was taken. But all of the above is factual.

I've known Hugh for a long time and I am not trying to hide my bias in this matter at all. I can tell you how it is straight up. If there is one thing that Hugh is about, it's ego. He's a maniacal bastard out to rule the world the way he sees it. If there were two things, it would be ego and mini-nun hookers.

Lifehacker at SXSW

Gina says that the Lifehacker "gang" will be at SXSW07. Being that it is one of my favorite sites I can't wait to meet her and say thanks for all of the great information. Maybe I can ask her how one gets a LH account. I always think of something to say and then realize I can't post. One of the few times that I'm quiet. :-) Maybe I have to take them out for BBQ or Tacos.

SX Softball

Had the SX softball tourny yesterday. The Minions lost, as usual, but that's okay. I beleive at this point it's our destiny. We also don't have any ringers. Plus, the free BBQ made it worth it. Oh, and getting to see everyone again was nice too... Being in meeting mode for two weeks and being with everyone all the time makes it very wierd when it's all said and done and the event is over.
